basic information
Screen printing can immediately form complex 30μm wiring patterns from the prototyping stage. However, once mass production begins, difficult-to-diagnose issues such as smudging and bleeding can occur simultaneously. Screen printing requires addressing invisible aspects. In screen printing, the liquid behavior of the paste, surface conditions, and micron-level deformations and precision variations of components influence print quality. However, these factors are not visible and can change moment by moment. Multiple causes for a single issue. For example, bleeding defects can arise from the interaction of the substrate, screen, squeegee, paste, printing pressure, printing speed, and equipment accuracy. A single issue can have multiple causes, making it difficult to pinpoint the source of the problem. Investigating issues from the cause side. By understanding the printing mechanism and characteristic variations in advance, and predicting the mechanisms of defect occurrence, it becomes easier to investigate potential causes of problems. In this seminar, we will use as many diagrams as possible to make explanations clear. Questions can be asked freely during the discussion. The seminar will focus on resolving doubts.
