The LAN monitoring function offers two modes: ONLINE mode, which captures communication data frames in a large 100MB memory and stops when data volume is high, and REPEAT mode for long-term measurements, which alternates the use of two 100MB memory segments continuously. These modes can be selected according to the network requirements. Additionally, continuous measurements can be automatically saved to a CF card. The measurement data can be converted into .pcap format files using dedicated utility software, allowing use with free LAN analysis software such as Ethereal and Wireshark. The PoE measurement function measures voltage, current, and power consumption from the power sourcing equipment (PSE) to the powered device (PD), continuously recording up to 4 million data points while performing proper evaluations. The PoE measurement data can be saved in CSV file format on the CF card, making it usable with spreadsheet software on a PC. Furthermore, it includes features such as cable testing, PING functionality, and port blinking, which are useful in LAN installation environments.
