We conducted an "eddy current testing" analysis to detect surface defects on the conductor plate.
The eddy current testing (non-destructive testing) using the external field method has a significant analytical symmetry, which is divided into a conductor plate and a probe. The probe consists of two types of coils: an excitation coil and a differential detection coil. We calculated the eddy current distribution when a current with a frequency of 500 Hz was applied to the excitation coil of the probe, as well as the induced electromotive force in the differential detection coil. By separating complex shapes that would be difficult to create as a single entity, the shape creation process can be simplified. 2.
