Temposonics sensors are durable non-contact absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision (0.5μm) and robustness (shock resistance of 100G, vibration resistance of 30G, IP68/69K, pressure resistance of 80MPa, CE compliant), and come with a variety of interfaces (analog, SSI, CANbus, Profibus, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, etc.). They are waterproof, capable of measuring lengths up to 20m, allow for simultaneous measurement at up to 30 different positions, and are explosion-proof, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
