It supports source editing, building, and debugging all in one development environment.
We provide an optimized C/C++ compiler, assembler, and optimized linkage editor with enhanced features for embedded systems, supporting Renesas Electronics' RX family, SuperH family, H8SX, H8S, and H8 families. - Language Specification We fully support the C++ language specification. Exception handling and template features are also supported based on ANSI/ISO standards. - Optimization Features In addition to common optimizations such as common subexpression elimination and register allocation, we achieve optimization code specifically tailored for microcontrollers. Furthermore, our link-time optimization feature enables optimizations that span across source files. - Embedded Features We support necessary functions for creating embedded programs, such as interrupt function descriptions and system instruction descriptions, which are not supported in C/C++ language. - Output Formats You can choose from four types of load module formats (ELF/DWARF2, S-type, HEX, binary) for output.

Therefore, the High-performance Embedded Workshop version C/C++ compiler package is only available in V1, and there is no V2. Please consider migrating to the CS+ version and upgrading the compiler version from V1 to V2 (*). *You will need to purchase the CS+ version V2 anew. The CS+ version V2 also supports RX100 series and RXv2 core-equipped products (such as the RX64M group).
