[Case Study] In-house Production of Axial Rotation Type and Fryer Type Winding Machines

This is an example of controlling a winding machine characterized by precise contour control with our motion controller.

Winding requires very high precision. Fine wires are aligned and wound, but if the traverse pitch (the feed amount per rotation) does not match the winding diameter, gaps or lumps can occur. Furthermore, once misalignment happens during the winding process, the product cannot be completed. Additionally, since the unit cost of winding is low, it is necessary to increase productivity by winding at high speeds. [Challenges] - I want to easily program winding commands. By parameterizing the traverse width, pitch, total number of turns, spindle rotation speed (for low-speed and high-speed layers), spindle acceleration and deceleration, and timing corrections for reversals, I want to easily program the winding operation. Example: Error in bobbin shape: fine-tune the traverse width Change in wire diameter: fine-tune the pitch - I want to achieve sufficient winding precision. - I also want to easily perform tasks like soldering and cutting.
