basic information
**Lecture Summary** Polyimide resin is a type of super engineering plastic that possesses excellent properties such as high heat resistance (350–450°C), high strength, high elasticity, and solvent resistance. It is mainly used in the form of films and bulk molded products, but there are also expectations for its application in various forms as microparticles. This lecture will explain the microparticulation of polyimide resin. Additionally, we will introduce a (continuous) manufacturing method for environmentally friendly polyimide (composite) microparticles. We will also present examples of composite microparticulation with other substances using a simple functionalization method and their applications.
