basic information
[Lecture Purpose] It has been about ten years since the emergence of free patent search databases (such as the Japan Patent Electronic Library IPDL and USPTO/esp@acenet) and literature search databases (like CiNiiJ-STAGE and Google Scholar). Although these databases are free, by utilizing the features they offer, they can be effectively used for prior art searches and the formulation of research and development strategies. This course aims to help participants acquire research and analysis techniques that include not only patent information but also literature information through practical PC exercises (database exercises, Excel and PowerPoint exercises, etc.).
