The VentureClad™ 1579 series is a product in the form of an adhesive sheet/tape, consisting of a film-like substrate reinforced with 13 layers of aluminum and resin, coated with a special acrylic adhesive. Due to the method of bonding non-breathable substrates with adhesive, it effectively shuts out the intrusion of rainwater and humid outside air with simple installation. It effectively prevents CUI (corrosion under insulation) and the deterioration of insulation and refrigeration materials, serving as an alternative to metal cladding. The "1579 series" (13-layer, reinforced laminate type) is suitable for use in outdoor piping and equipment in plants, particularly in areas where walking or strong forces are expected above the installation points. The lineup includes the standard adhesive type "1579CW," the embossed type "1579CW-E," and the high workability type for large diameter piping and equipment, "1579NA" (non-adhesive type).
