basic information
【Lecture Summary】 Extrusion molding is the foundation of plastic molding. The molded products are diverse, including films, sheets, pipes, hoses, tubes, specially shaped extrusions for civil engineering and construction materials, and foamed sheets. Additionally, extrusion molding is applied in the forming of parisons in blow molding. The properties required for molded products vary, and to achieve these properties, resin compounding is performed. Co-extrusion molding is applied as a means to this end. In the first half of this seminar, the basics of extrusion molding and the extrusion technologies for various products will be introduced. The second half will discuss co-extrusion technology in films, sheets, and blow molding, as well as the characteristics and applications of co-extruded products.
