It provides high speed, high precision, and high durability for position detection in industrial automation equipment and devices, enabling interfaces with many users of control devices that use the EtherNet/IP protocol, which is an industrial Ethernet. Additionally, it reduces cable wiring and helps to control the overall system costs. The measurement range is from 25mm to 10m, and various sensor shapes can be selected, including rod/profile (rail guide) type, flexible type, and sensor head separation type.
