It is a semi-absolute encoder that adopts a serial transmission method with a small capacity.
The rotary encoder "SA35 Series TS5643N110" is a semi-absolute encoder that outputs 11 bits per revolution and 13 bits for multi-turn with approximately 1.9° of shaft rotation after power is turned on. In the event of a power outage, it backs up multi-turn data using an external battery and an internal capacitor, allowing for reliable use. The advancements in motion control technology in the industrial sector are remarkable. Among them, the demand for detecting shaft angles and positions is increasing, and the applications of encoders are expanding from factory automation (FA) to measurement, printing machinery, medical devices, aerospace, and space fields. Tamagawa Seiki refers to encoders collectively as FA-CODER and offers a variety of series ranging from compact to high-resolution types to meet customer needs. Our company possesses internationally certified ultra-high precision angle measurement devices, enabling angle calibration to international standards. This angle technology serves as the foundation of our "monozukuri" (manufacturing), ensuring consistent quality from design to unique disk manufacturing and assembly. Company information
Since its establishment, Tamagawa Seiki has challenged the angular accuracy of control devices such as high-precision sensors, motors, and gyros that were necessary for the times, delivering these products to customers. Currently, we have become one of the few manufacturers in the world that develops and manufactures 2D position and angle sensors as well as 3D (spatial) position and angular velocity sensors. The motion systems that apply these high-precision sensor technologies are expanding their applications from everyday office automation to factory automation and even into the aerospace industry.
