Polyester leveling agent "Neolamin M-400"
Neolamin M-400
Solve the problem of uneven dyeing! Achieve simplification of work, reduction of time, and cost savings.
We offer the polyester leveling agent Neolamin M-400. Polyester is dyed when small dye particles penetrate the fibers. However, polyester has a dense structure. At room temperature, the fibers are tightly intertwined, which prevents particles from entering between them and thus prevents dyeing. At high temperatures (130°C or higher), the structure relaxes and allows small-particle disperse dyes to enter the gaps formed between the fibers, enabling dyeing to proceed. At this stage, uneven dyeing can occur because different dyes have different fixation rates. Red dyes generally have a faster fixation rate than blue or yellow dyes. A leveling agent prevents uneven dyeing. 【Effects of Leveling Agents】 ・Retarding Effect: Controls the speed at which dyes are absorbed by reducing the rate of faster-acting pigments. ・Migration Effect: Allows dye to transfer from darker areas to lighter areas when uneven dyeing occurs. ・Dispersing Effect: Ensures the uniform dispersion of hydrophobic disperse dyes in the bath through surfactant emulsification.
