Cosmo Coat adjusts the resistance value of the hard anodized film to either the insulating or semi-conductive range by introducing metal using a specially developed method. By controlling the type and amount of metal introduced, there are three variations: black, gold, and brown. The black variant not only has the aforementioned electrical characteristics but also features the ability to resist fading in environments above 200°C.
