The distance coefficient is the ratio of the measurement distance (D) to the diameter of the measurement area (S). These two are in direct proportion, so as the distance to the object increases, the diameter of the measurement area will also increase. Additionally, the displayed temperature is the "average temperature" within the measurement area. Please ensure that the object being measured fits within the measurement area.
