The Twin-plate is a "plate type" developed to handle fluids that can penetrate rubber gaskets and highly permeable fluids. It creates a bag-shaped cassette plate (Twin-plate) by laser-welding the sealing parts of two plates, and a gasket is attached to this combination. Alternating flow paths are formed with welded flow paths and gasket-sealed flow paths, allowing fluids that can penetrate the gasket to flow through the welded flow paths. It is ideal for cases where the use of gaskets is not possible on the process liquid side and where disassembly and cleaning are required on the other side, making it effective in refrigeration systems using ammonia refrigerants, heating and cooling of solvents or process liquids, and district heating and cooling.
