The IMH insert-type screen utilizes a proven principle unique to LEE, which simultaneously fixes and seals through expansion when mounted in a fixed position. Available sizes are 5.5mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in diameter, with screen roughness ranging from 40 to 170 microns (absolute). The cartridge type is designed for use at higher pressures. Excessive pressure can cause clogging, leading to the destruction of the screen body; however, the cartridge-type screen uses multiple layers of mesh bonded with high strength, designed to prevent bursting, although fluid characteristics may be compromised. Available sizes are 5.5mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in diameter, with screen roughness ranging from 40 to 300 microns (absolute). ■ Other options for resin are also available.
