TGC's masterpiece, the sensational insulating and ultra-high thermal conductivity composite material! It is the strongest product in the CompoLloid insulation series with a rating of 1000 W/mk.
Composite AlN is a new composite material with aluminum nitride. While possessing insulating properties, it boasts an astonishing thermal conductivity of over 1000 W/mk in the vertical (Z) direction. The thermal conductivity improves as the core substrate becomes thicker and the aluminum nitride becomes thinner.

basic information
In response to the heartfelt requests from our customers and the voices saying, "If we could insulate with this high thermal conductivity material..." we are pleased to announce the release of a composite material made of high thermal conductivity graphite and aluminum nitride. It is expected that circuits will be patterned directly on the surface of the composite AlN and used as a substrate. The thermal resistance of conventional insulating layer films and the copper plates, which were considered standard with a thermal conductivity of 400 W/mk, will be seen as thermal resistance in comparison to this new material. Furthermore, by brazing or soldering aluminum heat sinks, the thermal resistance of thermal grease will also be eliminated. This allows for a significant reduction in the size of heat sinks that have been necessary in thermal design, leading to a lighter overall product.

The encounter with the miraculous 1700 W/mk ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite, which everyone had almost given up on commercializing, was the reason our company, Thermographics, was established on July 1, 2009. As a result of collaborative research and development with numerous customers, we have been developing a range of composite products made from ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite under our original brand "Comproid" since October 2011. Within two years of its launch, Comproid achieved over 150 prototype results and has garnered attention and support mainly from customers in the automotive, aerospace, medical device, and computer industries, with full-scale mass production starting in March 2012.
