< 23rd Small and Medium Enterprises Excellent New Technology and New Product Award "Excellence Award" Winning Product > The CompoLloid series is a new composite material for thermal management and thermal countermeasures, developed by ThermoGraphitics (TGC), which utilizes ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite with a thermal conductivity of 1700 W/mk as its core substrate. CompoLloid products include those that bond metal or ceramic to graphite plates (either sandwiching the graphite or bonding it on one side) and those that metallize graphite plates for a plated finish. By leveraging the properties of the composite counterpart materials, it is possible to significantly enhance thermal conductivity. Maintaining the high thermal conductivity of core material high thermal conductivity graphite, its brittleness has been reinforced through a composite with copper plates, allowing for various machining processes. Furthermore, metal coatings such as nickel and gold are also possible, making soldering easier. Compoloid Al is a composite product made of the highly thermally conductive graphite and heat-dissipating aluminum, and it is highly anticipated by researchers and designers in various industries for the manufacturing of ultra-high heat-dissipating heat sinks. Until now, the common method for heat sinks has been to apply grease to the heat source or heat-dissipating plates like copper plates and fix them in place. However, Compoloid Al boasts a thermal conductivity four times that of copper and eliminates thermal resistance caused by low thermal conductivity heat-dissipating grease, allowing for efficient heat dissipation to aluminum, which provides significant advantages.

CompoRoid Rsn is a composite product made from high thermal conductivity graphite and high heat-resistant epoxy resin. It is the most cost-effective resin composite product in the CompoRoid series, achieving both thinness and strength. It efficiently absorbs heat from heat sources such as ICs, LSIs, CPUs, GPUs, and chipsets sized 20 mm or smaller, providing powerful cooling capabilities.

CompoLloid CC is a composite product made from carbon composites, allowing for size increase by bonding high thermal conductivity graphite, which serves as the core substrate. There are two types of products: large-area vertical (Z-direction) high thermal conductivity graphite plates and pseudo-isotropic thermal conductivity graphite plate products that can conduct heat in all directions (X-Y-Z). It is also possible to create double composite products such as gold plating or copper plate bonding. We will solve the problems of customers who have issues with anisotropy.
