This is a simple type of rotary table that can be easily installed on existing equipment and allows for large-diameter true circular machining using only milling processes.
By simply installing it on a portal-type five-sided machining center, it adds a rotation function to the workpiece, achieving high precision roundness for round workpieces through milling alone. The simple rotary table does not interact with the machine tool, unlike commercially available NC tables that change rotation speed in conjunction with the machine, allowing for significantly reduced costs while still achieving high precision roundness. Additionally, it is a device that can be easily replaced or retrofitted when needed.

The turning centers used for processing large round workpieces such as turbines, compressors, and wind power generation are not widely adopted due to high costs. Additionally, large turning processing rotary tables are not commercially available. Therefore, we have developed a low-cost rotary table unit that can be retrofitted to existing rotary tables, allowing for high-precision roundness processing of round workpieces up to φ2500 mm with milling operations.
