The temate(R) PowerBox H is the first handheld battery-powered EMAT device capable of outputting a peak power of MAX 1200V/8kW at a PRF of 100Hz. The device is equipped with a digitizer and a broadband pulser/receiver, designed for various applications such as flaw detection, thickness measurement, and material evaluation, suitable for use in manufacturing plants as well as in the field. It can generate spike pulses and burst waves in the range of 100kHz to 6MHz, allowing for the use of various modes such as longitudinal waves, transverse waves, guided waves, and SH waves in both single and dual probe methods. Both single and dual probe methods can be easily selected using the built-in transmit/receive switch without the need for additional equipment. It also features a port for a thermosensor, enabling automatic correction of sound velocity changes due to the temperature of the inspected object.
