It is suitable for applications that require small size and high performance, such as railway vehicles, automotive, medical devices, and joystick steering for boats. Additionally, it achieves low cost. It has gained attention as a linear displacement sensor alternative to LVDT and linear potentiometers and is adopted in a wide range of fields. The models CS-H2/CM-H2 come with a waterproof housing rated IP67 and can also be used as level sensors with the use of floats.
