The sample decomposed by heating with concentrated sulfuric acid is placed in a quantitative Kjeldahl flask, concentrated alkaline solution is injected to release ammonia, and steam is blown in for steam distillation. This device is based on the same principle as code 1401-, but while it requires heating the distillation flask, the flask is inexpensive, resulting in lower analysis costs.
