Energy-saving, compact registered system-compatible 5W output digital simple radio.
The digital simple business radio (registered station compatible) "Icom IC-D60" has newly developed a dedicated custom IC. By reviewing the number of components and internal structure through SoC (System-on-a-chip), it has achieved a thin and lightweight body with a thickness of 29.5mm and a weight of 250g (when equipped with lithium-ion battery BP-274). The maximum standby current consumption has been reduced to about 43.8% of our conventional model (IC-D50). Additionally, the current consumption during transmission has been reduced by about 9%, achieving an energy-saving design that allows for operation of up to approximately 20 hours on a single charge.
