Blocking prevention agent (optical grade such as liquid crystal optical sheets and polarizers!)
Capron W Series
Prevents blocking due to static electricity on optical materials (sheets and films) and polarizers!! Also effective in preventing dust adhesion and scratches during transport!!
It prevents blocking between sheets of surface-coated (liquid type) materials. Thanks to its anti-static effect, it reduces blocking of plastic sheets and films (such as PET, PC, ABS, AS resin, etc.). The scratch prevention effect due to reduced friction contributes to improved yield. It is compatible with optical-grade products such as optical sheets and polarizers for LCD monitors. Additionally, we can customize based on application and usage conditions to propose the optimal blocking prevention liquid. Please feel free to contact us for inquiries and consultations.

basic information
The cause of blocking and the adherence of dust and dirt that occurs during handling is static electricity that accumulates on plastic. One of the characteristics of plastic, which is an insulator, is that it is difficult for electricity to escape and is easily charged. The adherence of dust and dirt can also cause scratches. Nisshin Chemical's blocking prevention agent Capron W is a surface coating liquid agent that prevents blocking between sheets. One of the features of this product is that it provides a higher anti-static effect compared to kneaded type anti-static agents. Regarding the application method, it can be used for spraying (spray, mist), transfer (sponge roll, gravure roll), and dipping. The drying process can utilize air blowing or simple wiping.

Applications/Examples of results
We use it for light diffusion sheets for liquid crystal displays (LCD) and polarizers for liquid crystal monitors. In the case of optical sheets, we apply a coating with a sponge roll and dry it with air to impart antistatic and slip properties to the surface. This prevents blocking during sheet stacking, improving work efficiency. Additionally, it prevents dust adhesion and scratches during stacking, significantly improving product yield rates. It is also used before the masking adhesion process.
