In the manufacturing of raw materials that require high quality, such as battery materials, ceramic materials, carbon, and resin materials, high precision and uniformity are necessary for heating temperature history, atmospheric conditions, and holding time. For drying and heat treating large quantities of powdery substances, a rotary kiln that allows for continuous supply and discharge is optimal compared to static heat treatment methods or batch methods. The rotary kiln (SGV series) has achieved continuous and high-precision uniform heating treatment of temperature history through our unique method of moving raw materials along a spiral groove (formed by guide blades fixed to the inner wall of the retort). We provide a compact device that meets requests for optimal heat treatment considering raw material characteristics, selection of retort material, temperature/time/atmosphere control, and automation of supply/discharge.

<Features of SGV Type Rotary Kiln> - Continuous high-precision uniform drying and uniform heat treatment can be achieved. The heated materials move through the helical groove, so items with different input times do not mix. Heaters are divided into multiple zones, allowing for arbitrary temperature control in each zone. They are heated uniformly according to the specified temperature pattern. - Uniform heat treatment can be achieved even with high rotation and long processing times. Items before and after input do not mix at high speeds and move within the helical groove. The residence time can be controlled by the difference in rotation speed between forward and reverse rotation. - A compact furnace allows for large-scale processing. Uniform processing is possible as long as it does not exceed the depth of the helical groove. A filling rate of 30% is acceptable. - Introduction of drying air and atmosphere control is possible. Hot air can be introduced into the retort, and various atmospheres such as oxidizing or non-oxidizing can be controlled. - The material of the retort body is selected according to the application and heat treatment conditions. Materials such as SUS304, SUS316L, SUS310S, and Inconel are chosen based on processing temperature, corrosiveness, and atmosphere. - Automation of supply and discharge, return of dust collection powder, and temperature measurement are also possible.
