The liquid mass flow meter/controller "LIQUI-FLOW" is a digital mass flow meter/controller developed for low flow range applications. The measurement principle of the instrument is thermal, and the sensor is of the through-flow type. By connecting the flow meter and control valve, a control loop is formed. It fundamentally has no moving parts and employs a straight tube with no obstructions. A heater/sensor assembly is installed around the sensor tube, creating a constant ΔT based on anemometric principles. The energy required to maintain that constant ΔT is determined by the mass flow rate of the liquid. Our unique patented sensor only slightly warms the fluid (Max. 5°C), making L10/L20 ideal for measuring low boiling point liquids, just like the L1, L2, and L30 LIQUI-FLOW series.
