The separated type photo sensor KB1284 features an infrared light-emitting diode on the emitting side and a high-sensitivity phototransistor on the receiving side. It can also be used as standalone units for either the receiving or emitting side. The gap between the emitting and receiving sides can be set arbitrarily (1 to 100 mm), and it is a low-cost type. Additionally, we offer other series such as the light-modulated photo IC output (digital output) KB1281 and RoHS-compliant products. It is suitable for applications such as object passage detection in vending machines and ticket machines, paper presence detection in copiers and printers, timing detection, and object passage detection in various automatic machines.
