The separated type photo sensor KB1240 and 1241 are equipped with an infrared light-emitting diode on the emitting side and a photo IC light-receiving element (digital output) on the receiving side. They can also be used as standalone units for the emitting and receiving sides. The gap between the emitting and receiving sides can be set arbitrarily (1 to 100 mm), and they are a low-cost type. Additionally, we offer other series such as the KB1242 with photo transistor output and RoHS-compliant products.
