The WinCC MELSEC communication driver supports the entire series of MELSEC sequencers.
The WinCC MELSEC communication driver is developed using EZSocket, a communication middleware developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and it supports the communication connection types compatible with various MELSEC sequencer series (A series, QnA series, Qn series, FX series, L series, etc.). It is compatible not only with connections via the computer link unit but also with direct CPU connections, MELSECNET, and CC-Link.

A single communication driver supports multiple MELSEC sequencers of various types and multiple communication protocols. In addition to Ethernet and serial port connections, it can directly connect from a WinCC computer to MELSECNET and CC-Link networks. Access to all types of word devices and bit devices supported by each MELSEC model is possible. Communication parameter settings for MELSEC can be easily configured in the "Connection Settings" screen, which is called from the communication driver settings screen in WinCC Explorer.
