The WinCC MELSEC communication driver is developed using EZSocket, a communication middleware developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and it supports the communication connection types compatible with various MELSEC sequencer series (A series, QnA series, Qn series, FX series, L series, etc.). It is compatible not only with connections via the computer link unit but also with direct CPU connections, MELSECNET, and CC-Link.

By introducing the "Inspection Check Sheet System," the following improvements in inspection operations are possible: ■ Easy creation of master templates for "Inspection Check Sheets" Administrators can easily create master templates for check sheets using a web browser interface. ■ Easy input of "Inspection Check Sheets" on-site The check sheet registration screen is compatible with various tablet devices (iPad, Android devices, Windows PCs), making data registration easy. ■ Support for inspection check sheets for multiple varieties and processes Users can select varieties and processes to display and input the corresponding inspection check sheets. ■ Ability to display work instructions from "Inspection Check Sheets" It is possible to display necessary drawings, work instructions, and work instruction photos/videos required for inspection operations. ■ Ability to attach photos to "Inspection Check Sheets" Photos of defects taken on-site with the camera of a tablet device can be attached as data.

The maintenance information registration screen allows for the registration of CAD drawings, image data, and text information using Microsoft Visio.
