Orion Giken has launched a new "Camera Control Button Controller" that can control a 2-axis electric pan-tilt head and the mounted camera with a single controller!

We are pleased to announce that Orion Giken has released the "Camera Control Button Controller (RC3DTR10)," which allows control of a 3D head (3-axis electric pan-tilt head) and camera control of the Panasonic POVCAM (AG-MDR15/AG-MDC10G) with a single controller. Previously, operation required two separate controllers: one for the 3D head and another for the Panasonic POVCAM recorder AG-MDR15. However, with this controller, you can operate everything with just one device, eliminating the hassle of switching between controllers. Additionally, to enable precise movements, the speed adjustment for the 3D head is done via a volume control. A seesaw switch has also been adopted to allow zoom adjustments of the camera based on the tilt angle. Of course, there is no need for detailed settings on the camera before shooting; simply connect the included cable from this controller to the POVCAM recorder AG-MDR15 for easy setup. Designed with surgical field shooting in mind, this controller ensures ease of use and comfort for the operator, allowing for intuitive operation.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new medical-oriented 3-axis electric pan-tilt head, "3D Head 3D12A," which has received positive feedback for being lightweight, compact, and easy to operate. The "3D Head 3D12A" is a 3-axis pan-tilt device suitable for surgical field photography and clinical imaging, and it is a variant of the already released "3D Head 3D11 (made of resin)" with a different material. While inheriting the basic specifications of a round and smooth 3-axis electric pan-tilt head, we have strengthened the mechanism, allowing for the integration of a high-torque motor. This enables the mounting of heavier video cameras. Additionally, the body is made of aluminum, achieving excellent impact resistance. Furthermore, we offer two colors that blend well into the operating room: white and silver.
