Measurement of self-priming capacity of OKE-MB01FJ (7L/min)
We will measure the self-priming volume of standard and semi-standard nozzles. Measurements will be taken in increments from 0.00 to 0.01 MPa. The experimental results yielded unexpectedly very interesting findings, revealing the existence of water pressure at which the self-priming volume becomes discontinuous. The experimental conditions were set with a water heater temperature of 43°C, utilizing tap water pressure. The self-priming inlet was fully opened using a throttle valve. A 6mm outer diameter tube of 2 meters was used, with a check valve that has a cracking pressure close to 0 in between. The measuring device for the self-priming volume was the Horiba Manufacturing Corporation Estec Digital Flow Meter SEF-51. The nozzle used was OKE-MB01FJ with a discharge capacity of 7L/min (at water pressure of 0.15 MPa). For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

basic information
【Summary】 ○ Investigation of the performance of the loop flow microbubble generation nozzle ○ Measurement of self-priming volume for standard and semi-standard nozzles ○ Measurements taken in increments from 0.00 to 0.01 MPa 【Experimental Conditions】 ○ Set the water heater temperature to 43°C. Utilized water pressure → Pressure measured at the base of the shower hose → Installed the MB generation nozzle at the tip of the shower hose, with nothing attached to the nozzle tip ○ The self-priming inlet was fully opened using a throttle valve ○ Used a 6mm outer diameter tube, 2m in length ○ A check valve with cracking pressure close to 0 was used in between ○ Self-priming volume measurement device → Horiba Seisakusho Estec Digital Flow Meter SEF-51 ○ Nozzle used: OKE-MB01FJ, discharge volume 7L/min (at water pressure 0.15 MPa) 【Results and Discussion】 ○ It was found that the self-priming volume is very high, accounting for 80% of the discharge volume. ○ At a water pressure of 0.15 MPa, the self-priming volume is 5.6 L/min → Exceeding this pressure causes a jump to 0.18 MPa, drastically reducing the self-priming volume to 3.6 L/min → Simultaneously, a loud roaring sound is produced ○ It was found that there exists a water pressure at which the self-priming volume becomes discontinuous → For the OKE-MB01FJ, this water pressure is 0.15 MPa ● For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Company information
Our main business is the design of specialized machine tools for processing automotive parts and similar items. We have been researching microbubbles since 2000. In 2006, we developed a loop flow microbubble generation nozzle. We applied for a patent, which was published in May 2008. Since spring 2008, we have been supplying a special type to a company that sells ozone microbubble shower devices. General sales began in 2009.
