Transistor/Inverter Controlled Pulse Plasma Welding Device
■ Packaged with all necessary functions fully equipped. The power supply unit, gas control unit, cooling water circulation unit, and their control units are all fully equipped with the necessary functions, allowing for use with just electrical and gas connections. ■ Soft and stable arc from 5A to 350A. Thanks to inverter control, a soft and stable arc is achieved across the entire range of 5A to 350A. Additionally, a constant current arc without fluctuations is maintained even with variations in power supply voltage and arc stand. ■ Improved workability and expanded application range with low-speed and high-speed pulse welding. Low-speed pulse settings from 0.5 to 15Hz and high-speed pulse settings from 10 to 300Hz can be freely configured, demonstrating effectiveness in various welding applications, enhancing workability, and broadening the range of applications. It is also possible to operate without pulses. ■ Reliable arc start. During the start of the main arc, high frequency is superimposed on the pilot arc, ensuring a reliable start of the main arc even at low currents, eliminating failures in automatic welding.

basic information
■ Smooth start and end of welding. Welding start: No defects such as melting drop or poor penetration due to pre-flow, initial current adjustment, and upslope function. Welding end: Down slope, crater filler current adjustment, and after-flow function prevent shrinkage holes and cracks at the end. ■ Keyhole welding is easy for plate thicknesses up to 10 mm. Stable arc, gas, and rational design of the torch make keyhole welding practically achievable for plate thicknesses up to 10 mm.
Applications/Examples of results
■ 300A, 100% duty cycle. Excellent reproducibility of welding conditions. It performs exceptionally well in various welding lines with peace of mind. ■ Ideal heat input control can be achieved through pulsing. ■ Deep penetration, minimal undercut, and less protrusion of back waves. ■ The shielding gas flows only during the main arc and for a few seconds before and after, resulting in low consumption. ■ Equipped with various input and output signal terminals necessary for automation. ■ The pilot arc circuit and main arc circuit are independent, allowing the main arc to be turned ON and OFF separately, enabling pre-positioning of the weld with the pilot arc and immediate transition to welding. ■ Safe and user-friendly design. ■ Electric shock prevention structure. ■ Detection and display for abnormal input voltage, overload, and abnormal temperature rise. ■ Fully compatible with 50/60Hz. ■ Easy maintenance and inspection. ■ Detection and display for low cooling water pressure and water supply interruption. ■ Energy-saving and gas-saving design.
Company information
Since its founding in 1918 (Taisho 7), Koike has served as an opinion leader in machine tools utilizing "gas energy," contributing to the development of key industries. During this time, in line with the progress of the era, we have developed cutting machines utilizing "plasma" and "laser" ahead of others, and have commercialized advanced automated systems using NC technology. At the same time, we have established a comprehensive total system to meet all customer needs, ranging from "gas, welding, and cutting to related equipment."
