The Vaisala WINDCAP WMT700 series is a highly reliable ultrasonic wind direction and speed sensor with excellent durability. It measures wind direction and speed, which are key parameters in meteorological observations and aviation weather. The WMT700 series complies with the latest version of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) guideline 8 (7th edition) and the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The WMT700 series features a high-durability full steel structure with an integrated arm. It has a clear north direction indicator and a plug-in mounting method. With no moving parts, it also excels in resistance to dirt and corrosion. The WMT700 provides accurate measurements under harsh wind and weather conditions, delivering reliable data. Regular and irregular maintenance is not required. Additionally, it has standard functions for self-diagnosis and validation of measurement values.
