This is an introduction to the hexavalent chromium-free treatment coating "trivalent black chromate."
Our company implements quality control to supply safer products, obtains customer certification, and provides products accordingly. Hexavalent chromium is used in black chromate (black zinc) as a rust prevention treatment coating. With the increasing awareness of environmental issues and the demands of customers, there has been a growing need for higher quality and safer products, starting with the RoHS directive. To meet this demand, we supply products that have a hexavalent chromium-free black conversion treatment coating (trivalent black chromate) with an appearance equivalent to conventional black chromate. This product is particularly safe, meeting the EN15205 standard of 0.1μg/cm² for hexavalent chromium leaching. It is very easy to handle. For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

In the plating industry, we have been actively addressing environmental issues for a long time. Our company has been implementing cyanide-free processes since 1973, with consideration for the environment and safety. Additionally, at the Ota factory, which was completed in August 2007, we have further improved customer satisfaction and taken environmental considerations into account by eliminating the use of hexavalent chromium to "zero" in order to comply with the RoHS directive and green procurement, making it an environmentally friendly factory where we carry out processing with trivalent chromate and non-chrome.
