QuickTest II conducts high-speed characteristic tests for mobile and small LCD/OLED displays. QuickTest II is the successor to QuickTest, which has been implemented in manufacturing sites around the world. Traditionally, to perform QT and QC tests, it was necessary to prepare optical equipment in a darkroom and mount it on custom-made fixtures. Such tests were labor-intensive and took a significant amount of time to obtain meaningful statistical data. As a result, testing took time, and only limited QC tests could be conducted. QuickTest II enables high-speed QC testing and the acquisition of statistical data. The internal environment of QuickTest II is the same as that of a darkroom, making it usable in LCD and OLED manufacturing sites and laboratories. Most measurements are completed in 30 seconds per display. The software of QuickTest II performs pass/fail judgments and statistical processing of process data, and all test data is logged in a database.
