The wire-type linear encoder "SLG Series" is a wire-type linear encoder that attaches a wire box (made of aluminum) to an absolute or incremental rotary encoder. It is available in 11 types with strokes ranging from 2m to 60m. The wire box and encoder sections can be separated, allowing for the replacement of just the wire box at the customer's site. Additionally, the drum inside the wire box moves in response to the wire being pulled out (the wire is single-wound), preventing tangling of the wire inside and ensuring high reproducibility and reliability.
