**Problems Faced on the Shop Floor** On the shop floor, there are cases where a press machine that has been producing excellent parts for weeks suddenly starts producing defective products, despite the same forming conditions. However, by using AutoForm-Sigmaplus, it is possible to quantitatively predict the robustness of the press forming process, as it takes into account the variations specific to the press forming process and changes in processing conditions. Additionally, with the process capability Cpk evaluation feature of AutoForm-Sigma, it is possible to assess which parts of the forming process are causing defects in the parts and to what extent.
