The RAM-MSD type 2-speed spindle reducer is designed to integrate a water-cooled motor and spindle in a straight line within the ram. This lightweight and compact structure is the optimal 2-speed spindle reducer for modern spindles. <Features> - The round-shaped reducer is suitable for installation inside the ram. Additionally, the same cooling circuit used for the motor's cooling system can be utilized for cooling. - A reduction ratio of 1:1 allows for a maximum rotation of 12,000 min(-1), which is ideal for finishing processes. - Maximum torque and output can be achieved at a rotation speed of 300 min(-1). - The structure allows for the incorporation of hydraulic drawbars and coolant circuits due to its hollow design. - Speed conversion methods can be implemented using pneumatic or hydraulic systems controlled by CNC from the outside. - Minimal backlash enables precise tool changes and contour cutting. - The lightweight and compact design minimizes the inertia of the Z-axis.
