The development of the RAM-Hit 2-speed spindle built-in reducer by Redex (France) has led to the creation of a high-torque, lightweight, and compact spindle unit. It covers spindle torque (S1) from 750 Nm with an outer diameter of 250 mm to a maximum of 10,000 Nm with an outer diameter of 430 mm in six variations. GM can be fully controlled with a typical machine tool control system. Additionally, special accessories such as rotary joints, drawbar systems, encoders, and spindle heads can be incorporated. GM is the ideal spindle unit for machine tools used in hard milling to enhance productivity.
