Glass beads blended to efficiently retroreflect concentrated light such as that from car headlights.
The Beam Light series is a reflective paint that combines high-transparency paint with glass beads (reflective spheres). When the reflective paint is applied, the glass beads on the paint film reflect light from car headlights or flashlights, making the painted surface shine in the dark or at night. This reflective paint, which excels in nighttime visibility, is widely used in the fields of traffic safety and disaster prevention, mainly for road markings and hazard area signs. The Beam Light series includes colored and clear types. The colored types #200 and #300 are vibrant reflective paints made from special micro glass beads and special colored pigments, among other components. The clear types #2000 and #3000 are high-performance transparent reflective paints made from glass beads and other materials. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Between 1958 and 1959, Dai Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. proposed the idea of separating and independently establishing its Ofuna factory, leading to the creation of its first subsidiary. The company's general affairs department considered and suggested names for the new company, first searching for English documents related to the new company's main product, "fluorescence." Terms such as fluorescence, fluorescence paint, luminous body, and luminous paint were identified, and it was found that in German, luminous body is "Leuchte" and luminous paint is "Die Leuchtfarbe." Therefore, the founder and first president, Nobu Negishi, had his name "Nobu" combined with the German word "Leuchte" to create the coined term "SIN+LEUCHTE," which was phonetically read as "Shinroih" and spelled as "SINLOIHI."
