Photoluminescent tape Safety and disaster prevention tape Photoluminescent signage (evacuation guidance signage)
It has excellent afterglow properties, and if exposed to light for about 15 to 20 minutes, it will glow in the dark for a long time!
There are two types of evacuation guidance luminous indicators: evacuation exit indicators and evacuation direction indicators. Various performance standards, such as luminous performance and heat resistance, have been established, and Shinroihi has completed products that meet all these standards. This evacuation guidance indicator is made by screen printing on a film using a new material with long-lasting luminous pigment. It has superior afterglow performance compared to conventional products, continuing to emit light in the dark for a long time after being exposed to light for about 15 to 20 minutes. It excels in both afterglow and luminous intensity compared to traditional luminous signs. Additionally, it contains no radioactive materials, making it safe. All products in this catalog comply with the structural and performance standards for evacuation exit indicators and evacuation direction indicators announced by the Tokyo Fire Department (Tokyo Fire Department Notification No. 4, March 2005). Between 1958 and 1959, Dai Nippon Paint Co., Ltd. proposed the idea of separating and independently establishing its Ofuna factory, leading to the creation of its first subsidiary. The company's general affairs department considered and suggested names for the new company, first searching for English documents related to the new company's main product, "fluorescence." Terms such as fluorescence, fluorescence paint, luminous body, and luminous paint were identified, and it was found that in German, luminous body is "Leuchte" and luminous paint is "Die Leuchtfarbe." Therefore, the founder and first president, Nobu Negishi, had his name "Nobu" combined with the German word "Leuchte" to create the coined term "SIN+LEUCHTE," which was phonetically read as "Shinroih" and spelled as "SINLOIHI."
