Case Studies of Electric Lock Control by Scene 13: Research Institutes, Factories, Warehouses / Storage
JEI's access control system makes it easy to manage entry and exit in warehouses.
Warehouse entry and exit management is an important aspect that connects to inventory management. If people enter and exit the warehouse indiscriminately, and if inventory management is not strictly enforced, it becomes impossible to know who took what and when. JEI's entry and exit management system simplifies warehouse entry and exit management. Employees are issued contactless IC cards, which they use to tap on a multi-reader outside the office when arriving, creating a record of their arrival. They also tap the card when leaving to create a record of their departure. Only those authorized to enter the warehouse are registered with the warehouse's contactless IC card reader. Only those who have been granted entry permission can enter and exit. When entering the warehouse, tapping the IC card on the contactless IC card reader installed at the entrance unlocks the door. Even if there are multiple entrants, they must always tap their cards on the card reader. Upon exiting, they also tap their cards on the internal contactless IC card reader to indicate their departure. If a person taps their card upon entry but does not tap it upon exit, that person will be considered to still be inside the warehouse. The entry and exit history of these cards can be checked on a computer linked to the electronic lock control panel inside the office. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
