80 years since production began. We respond with the industry's leading lineup to accommodate various applications.
This is a plastic sheet with excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. There is also a flame-retardant type that complies with UL standards.
Inquire About This Product
basic information
It is a plastic sheet based on thermosetting resins (phenolic resin, epoxy resin). These resins are impregnated into paper, cotton fabric, or glass cloth, layered, and then pressed under high pressure while applying high temperature, which is why it is called "thermosetting resin laminated board" (JIS K 6912). In addition to the electrical insulation and chemical resistance properties of the base resin, the paper or fabric serves as a reinforcing material, providing excellent mechanical strength. The laminated board can be cut or punched into various shapes to be used as insulating boards or mechanical parts.

Detailed information
-
Paper-based phenolic resin laminate is relatively inexpensive and excels in electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. It also has excellent machinability, allowing it to be processed into various shaped parts (photo). For applications requiring additional mechanical strength, such as wear resistance and impact resistance, we offer fabric-based phenolic resin laminate.
-
Paper-based phenolic resin laminate (thin sheet) has excellent punch processing properties, making it suitable for use as insulation boards (photo) around switches and motors. For areas subjected to vibration and impact, we offer laminate sheets made from fabric-based materials.
-
Glass fabric substrate epoxy resin laminated sheets (thick and thin sheets) are used when higher insulation properties, mechanical strength, or heat resistance are required compared to paper substrate phenolic resin laminated sheets. They are also machined into various shapes (see photo). Thin sheets are used as backing materials when mounting components or connectors on flexible printed wiring boards.
