Temposonics sensors are durable absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision, robustness (vibration resistance of 15G, IP68/69K, pressure resistance of 35MPa, operating temperature range of -40 to +75°C, CE compliant), and a maximum measurement length of 20m, along with a variety of interfaces. With features such as waterproofing, long measurement lengths, corrosion-resistant rods (Teflon, Hastelloy, SUS316L), and explosion-proof capabilities, they can be used in a wide range of applications, particularly where high precision and real-time position measurement are required, such as in liquid level measurement and precise flow control for water, oil, and chemicals. Additionally, the movable part only requires a magnet for position detection, eliminating the need for power/signal cables. This contributes to cost reduction for customers as it does not require regular maintenance or cleaning.
