This is an example of model development using MATLAB/Simulink based on the motion equation of the V-belt CVT mechanism.
This model is based on the formulation that incorporates the torque acting on the input shafts of each pulley using the winding diameters of each pulley obtained from the geometric constraint equations of the belt, integrated into the equations of motion in the direction of rotation. In the formulation, the dynamics in the sliding direction utilize the relationship proposed by Dr. Esfandiar Shafai, taking into account the coefficient of friction between the pulley and the belt. ■ Modeling target: V-belt CVT mechanism (model for SILS) ■ Development environment: MATLAB/Simulink (R14SP3) ■ Overview of V-belt CVT mechanism ● For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
