In particular, Gadelius Industry has played an important role as a bridge for companies expanding from Sweden to Japan. Most of the Swedish companies currently active in Japan, such as ABB, Flect, SKF, Ericsson, and Heganas, started their businesses through Gadelius. Additionally, most of the industrial machinery widely used in Japan, including paper pulp digesters, air preheaters for power plants, and industrial elevators, were supplied by Gadelius.
