basic information
Super Invar is a ternary alloy of iron-nickel-cobalt (Fe-32Ni-5Co) and has a low thermal expansion coefficient near room temperature. It exhibits the lowest thermal expansion among metallic materials, with values close to almost zero. The average thermal expansion coefficient (RT-100°C) is 0 to 1.0×10^-6/K. By applying this material property to mold components, it is believed that it can contribute to improving the accuracy of molded products.

Company information
We are Nagata Industry Co., Ltd., specializing in single-item and small-lot processed parts. Our areas of expertise include: ◆ Processing of super Invar and Invar materials. Super Invar, a low thermal expansion material, is also a difficult-to-machine material. Nagata Industry has over 25 years of experience handling super Invar materials. We can perform various machining processes including NC lathe machining, machining, wire cutting, die-sinking electrical discharge machining, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, internal grinding, and mechanical lapping. Our processing achievements include parts for machine tools, measuring instruments, optical devices, and others. We also offer surface treatments such as electroless nickel, low-temperature black chrome, and Raiden. Additionally, we have a wealth of experience in heat treatment for super Invar and Invar at our subcontracted factories. You can also rely on us for the procurement of Invar and super Invar materials. We have stock available for smaller quantities. Notably, for high-value projects with high difficulty, there are often no competing suppliers. We look forward to your inquiries. ◆ Prototyping of aluminum, SUS, and iron for automotive parts manufacturers, measuring instrument manufacturers, machine tool manufacturers, and others. ◆ In addition to the above prototyping, we also accept orders for hardened and polished parts, as well as consumable parts for various factories' jigs and equipment.
