The VDTU2-B140 is a gigabit Ethernet extension converter that utilizes a maximum bandwidth of 300Mbps (downstream: 150Mbps / upstream: 150Mbps). It achieves communication similar to fiber optics using existing copper lines through a gigabit Ethernet port with 4 × 1000Base-T or 1 × VDSL2 port (RJ-45 or 2PIN terminal block). Eight different synchronization profiles can be selected via DIP switches, allowing for customization based on applications and environments. The synchronization profiles can be applied as standard Ethernet connections, while asynchronous profiles can be used for high-speed traffic flows in one direction, such as video streaming and IP surveillance services. The VDTU2-B140 supports transparent LAN bridging to extend Ethernet services over common LAN (UTP Cat 5+) cables or telephone lines. It is a long-distance transmission Ethernet extender that offers the highest throughput for service providers.
